custom commands


i am new to linux , i want to create custom commands like default commands ls,cp etc.

is it possible to create

Can you explain what exactly you want to do? Commands are just programs, so if you want to write your own programs, that's definitely possible.

You might want to add some 'alias' commands in /etc/profile (on some/most GNU/Linux distros.)
