link is dead
do you really want a 2005 distro? |
It died in 2007.
Try openSUSE 12.3 instead. http://www.opensuse.org/ -edit- If you really need that old SUSE 9.3 iso, use: Code:
curl -C - -O http://ftp.hosteurope.de/mirror/ftp.suse.com/pub/suse/discontinued/i386/9.3/iso/SUSE-9.3-Prof-i386-CD1.iso |
need the 9.3
Actually the host is not mine it belongs to another individual and they are running SuSE 9.3. It's a really old 386. I've been trying to find the libXrender and libXtst rpm for that distribution and was thinking that they may be on the distribution CD and I could install them If the link is dead then I'll need to keep looking. Thanks for the feedback

if you give some hardware details, at least the cpu and ram, but the more the better, we can suggest a suitable and current distro.
Old hardware doesn't necessarily need to run old software |
i386 1.8gb intel pentium
it an i386 1.8gb Intel Pentium 4 processor
