Cool CUPS - strip out form feed

I'm using Red Hat Enterprise v4.5 using CUPS
Can the printers.conf file be edited to instruct the printer not to form feed at end of print?

Add an 'sf' option to your /etc/printcap

In printcap and at the end of the entry line for that printer there is a rp=labels:

Should your suggestion look like rp=labels:"sf"

You are aware that printcap is generated from the printers.conf file and that changes to printcap get lost.

Yes, I am aware of that - I can actually read ;}

It's just that I'm not aware of a way of setting this
in printers.conf. There may (or may not, depending on
the ppd for your printer) be a way of doing this via
cups' web-interface, have a look through the settings
under "Modify printer settings".

As for the setting - just append it to the relevant line,
separated by a colon, without the quotes.

Cheers,
Tink
