CUPS problem on Xandros 3

I am running Xandros 3 on a machine to which I have connected a USB printer (HP PSC 2110 all-in-one) and I can print from that machine and also from a client machine connected to it, also running Xandros.

The problem is that in order to print from the client machine, I must first be logged into the server machine. I can lock the session once I have logged in, but I have to be logged in in order to be able to print from the client machine.

I am NOT using the version of CUPS that is included in Xandros, that version had some sort of vulnerability, so I upgraded to the version in Debian "Sarge" after compiling it on my Xandros system. Is there a way to fix this situation so that I do not need to be logged in on the server machine?
