CUPS doesn't run on Mandriva 2007???!

Hello

I have recently upgraded my Mnadriva 2006 to Mandriva 2007 and found out that CUPS daemon doesn't run!
I have tried the following:

[root@localhost cups]# killall -HUP cupsd
[root@localhost cups]# /etc/init.d/cups restart
Stopping CUPS printing system: [ OK ]
Starting CUPS printing system: [ OK ]
Waiting for the CUPS daemon getting ready..............................
WARNING: CUPS daemon still not listening after 30 sec, aborting auto-admin tasks .

Here's my CUPS config file, cupsd.conf:

LogLevel info
TempDir /var/spool/cups/tmp
Port 631
Browsing On
BrowseAddress @LOCAL
BrowseDeny All
BrowseAllow @LOCAL
BrowseOrder Deny,Allow
<Location />
Order Deny,Allow
Deny From All
Allow From 127.0.0.1
Allow From 192.168.1.101
Allow From 192.168.1.*
Allow From @LOCAL
</Location>
<Location /admin>
AuthType Basic
AuthClass System
Order Deny,Allow
Deny From All
Allow From 127.0.0.1
</Location>

It's the default file that came with the installation. I haven't changed it.

Everytime I try to open my KDE printing module, I get the error:

Unable to retrieve the printer List. Error message received from manager:

Connection to CUPS server failed. Check that CUPS server is currently installed and running. Error: Connection Refused.

Can anybody help me fix this problem?

Thanks

Ali

Cups problem with Mandriva 2007

I had the same problem after upgrading and solved it by adding ServerName <nameofthishost>
to client.conf.O

I don't know if this had anything to do with it but it seemed like the right thing to do: I also added "Allow from <ip address> to all the location paragraphs in cupsd.conf.O
