Question "CUBE" Graphics in OpenSuse 11.1

Hi friends.

Im a newbie and i want to try linux for the first time. A Computer magazine provided the ISO of opensuse 11.1 and i want to try it. Now after installation i want to install the 3d graphics programs. i heard the names {XGL,COMPIZ). I have no idea what these packages are but know that they are essential for enabling the "Cube" and other advanced graphical applications. So please provide me the links to the necessary software and if possible, also the installation steps.

Thank u.

Hi and welcome to linux.
Your question is very basic and is covered in the opensuse website documentation.
You can find the relevant page HERE.
When searching for information remember that Google and your distros website are your friends.
