ctrl-C not working o_O;;
Wow, I'm kinda mystified by the fact there's no friggin way to have KDE register ctrl-c properly. Anyone experienced this before? I can copy by right-clicking, but if I try with the hotkeys (btw, they *are* set in the kde keyboard's shortcut --- should be anyways, default settings) it doesn't copy the data (text, whatever you want).
Really frustrating to end up opening up AGAIN a software from which you just copied something just to right click and copy again to be able to paste it elsewhere. Oh, and ctrl-printscreen for screenshots, how do I paste 'em somewhere in the gimp? (I know there's an integrated capture from screenshot, but I'm too used to doing everything w my keyboard) Thankies! |
It does copy it... hit control + c and look down at kipper you will see there is data on the clip board... you select it and go into any program and hit control + v ...:P or do the same thing but with Control + insert and shift + insert
as for print screen there is no button that will do that .. insted there are screen capture apps.. the gimp is one of them |
Well I'm a keyboard fan, don't like to have one excendentary click to do (so I made klipper disappear ... hermf made it appear again for the time being :P ) but I don't really klipper, I want it to behave like windows' : ctrl c , ctrl v, without having to select..
==edit played with klipper on a bit, baka kiddo... seems like klipper *needs* to be on for this to work ?_? |
