What is the line in the crontab which launches it?

Please resist the urge to say "nothing happens". Something did happen. You just don't know what it was, and your job is to search for mechanism that enable you to observe what happened.

The long output in post #12, did that come from you manually running the script, or was that from the script running under cron ?
