cron should mail me, after each operation,? but.....


cron, after the execution of a scheduled operation should mail the user (usually it does so) but on my pc cron execute correctly the operation, but don't send the mail....

how I can check and activate this option?

I think that cron only mail if there is any output from the command run.

cron should mail after each execution of a scheduled operation........... (It's a notification, so the adm knows that cron works and what cron does)
