Cron jobs not executed at right time(persistent UTC?)

hi,i've searched the forums but could not find an answer for my problem.my cron.daily are scheduled to be executed at 04:02 am,but its only getting scheduled at 11:02 am.i assume its becuase of some weird UTC setting,but i checked my timezone,my hwclock and my system clock.everything seems fine,but still the jobs are being executed at wrong time..what can cause this?any help will be apreciated..here's some output........

$ hwclock
Wed 29 Mar 2006 07:45:07 AM SAST -0.063704 seconds

$ date
Wed Mar 29 07:45:02 SAST 2006

vi /etc/sysconfig/clock

ONE="Africa/Johannesburg"
UTC=false
ARC=false

Hmmmmm which version do you have? Install a never version and try again It can be a hidden configuration file overriding your time zone. Itīs common nowadays due to duplicate/tons of configurations in different dirs!

Try to find other config files, like

(in root dir)
/# ls -r | grep cron*
(use recursive option in ls), if anything goes wrong, type ls --help.

And then use 'vi' or 'emacs' in the suspecting results. Also see if /etc files have any .local extension, as profile.local.

Good luck!
