Creating root equivalent user in linux
 
Hi All,

Can you please guide how to create root equivalent user in linux, and can we convert the existing user with root equivalent permission... please advise..

You can achieve this using sudo

Very bad idea though. Look at sudo instead. Will allow you to keep your system in check.

Here's my advice: don't do it. Use sudo like stated above.

I had this idea when I first started using Linux. Since then I have decided that it is not a good idea.
