creating logical volumes...


Hi...i want to create a logical volume with stripe size of 1 megabyte and with 8 colums..i really didnt get how the -I paramater work to create a stripe with 1 meg.
also lvdisplay wont show me the number of stripes and stripesize of the current logical volumes , how can i determine that?
