creating desktop application with same xterm code

I can only seem to run a certain program from a terminal and would like to create a desktop application button in suse to perform this action. I have tried many methods and did some searching, but to no avail.

Any help?

I just thought I should give some more information.

I have done this task with rdesktop already and it worked.

In an xterm I enter

wine /home/tsch...../PokerStarsUpdate.exe, but when i put this into an application icon I don't get the same results.

is the "run in terminal" box checked?

When I check that box and the "do not cose terminal when code finished" box the terminal stays open, but there is nothing in it and the program still does not run.
