Creating a Encripted Filesystem


Helo there, Im a sysadmin in a University and a teacher here wants to create a encripted filesystem on his external HD.
Can someone give me a link or command options to do this?

Check out dm-crypt and truecrypt.

Here is one how-to for *buntu:
