Introduction to Linux - A Hands on Guide
This guide was created as an overview of the Linux Operating System, geared toward new users as an exploration tour and getting started guide, with exercises at the end of each chapter.
For more advanced trainees it can be a desktop reference, and a collection of the base knowledge needed to proceed with system and network administration. This book contains many real life examples derived from the author's experience as a Linux system and network administrator, trainer and consultant. They hope these examples will help you to get a better understanding of the Linux system and that you feel encouraged to try out things on your own.

Mirrors have graciously agreed to set up limited hosting areas for downloading the bootable KNOPPIX GNU/Linux ISO images:
Notice that I provided links for ftp & html mirror transfers. I usually use ftp site with wget within a shell to control my downloads independently. Most mirrors should be current, you need to allow some time when a release has been made/upgraded before the mirrors have the current update.
BTW, be sure to check your ISO downloads for validity before burning to media.
Edit note: If you want ADRIANE-KNOPPIX_V7.2.0 then select that version.
I have also downloaded and installed Knoppix from the above image URLs but if you are going to work for penetration testing or something like that I'd strongly recommend backtrack 5 or 6 or Kali Linux for that purpose.
