crash during install

sorry this is my third topic, but I'm dreadfully confused.

Install was running smoothly. As I was doing the network setup, I told it to probe for devices, and it went to a black page with a bunch of incomprehensible (to me) errors. nothing happened and I was eventually forced to power off.

now when I boot, it says...
the superblock does not describe a corrrect ext2 filesystem
...
press ctrl+d to proceed or enter root password...

no matter what I do, it just restarts.

I think you need to start your installation from the beginning. Something was wrong during some operations related to the filesystem. This time choose ext3 as your filesystem. It's better in case of errors.
