Cpanel


I just wanted to know if there was anything on the market like Cpanel as far as allowing users to set up and access there account. Cpanel is great and the trial version was truly nice however i lack the funding to buy it. =(

Someone said i should try webmin but really i don't see how you could compare that to cpanel. i think that they are almost two very different things.

a quick google throws up plesk and directadmin as alternatives

SuSE's YAST has many of those features, although it may not look as nice...

Actually I think he should look at Usermin. Usermin is addon for webmin but meant for the users end.

Webmin controls usermin.

Forgot to mention the powerfull Virtualmin too which is controlled by webmin.

All which are GPL and free.
