Coverting WMV to flash

I want to be able to covert wmv files to flash. I need to be able to do this in batch mode - I have a lrge number of wmv files. In addition I want to be able to merge sound files to the converted files as we go.

Can this be done with Free OSS tools, and how?

You coud use mplayer to output all frames in the WMV files to PING (png) images. You have to convert the frame per second to either 25 or 30 to make the audio and video sync be near perfect. Then use ming (http://ming.sourceforge.net/). The project ming is not easy to use, so you are on your own.

Another way is to use ffmpeg to output an flv file.
