I have try urpmi program but I receive errors. It's late I will work on it tomorrow.

I don't see the command URPMI in my Mandrake distrobution when I type help... strange

I thing we can't make urpmi work in a terminal. I have try to open X Console but it doesn't open. I will download a new version. Strange...

did you log in as root before you enter the command?
open a terminal, type 'su' then the root password, then try the command again

Thank you for the message. It solve the problem. I hope I'm not too much a newbie to make Mandrake work.
I know now how to install a file rpm with urpmi.

Now email. I have phone my internet provider and he told me the receiving mail was "pop1.nb.sympatico.ca" and my sending mail was "smtp1.nb.sympatico.ca" and "lavignem#nb.sympatico.ca" . That last one I don't know where to put it in my Evolution configuration. If someone have a idea please tell me.

I have found where to put "lavignem#nb.sympatico.ca". I will like to know what to do which a file that finish with tar.gz?
