Couldn't ping or ssh linux virtual machine


Hi guys when i try to "ssh or ping" on linux virtual machine using windows putty it's showing this attached image error. Thanks advance.

I am not sure about the ping, but for the ssh.

would be nice to give more details. How was that VM created, how did you configure its networks, what OS was installed ....

try to ping the IP of server1
check YOUR FIREWALL if they disable Internet Control Message Protocol (ICMP)
in ssh try to download read this...http://support.suso.com/supki/SSH_Tutorial_for_Linux
