I recently used digiKam for the first time. After creating folders by drag and drop method I now find that after clicking on my home folder it opens, but after clicking on sub folders digiKam wants to run. The digiKam icons appear, twirl, and then vanishes.
I have tried replacing the home folder icon and using new links, but no luck.
I have removed and re-installed digiKam with no luck.
Clicking on my root folder will cause the digiKam icon to appear, twirl and then vanish.
Everything else is fine with my Mandriva 200.1 C.D. installation.

Does this apply to all subfolders in your /home? Or only the ones you created with digikam?

It could be that your KIO configuration got hosed and the KDE I/O manager now thinks it is supposed to open directories with digikam instead of konqueror.

Look in the KDE control panel under KDE Components/File Associations/inodes.
