Corrupt Hard Drive??

Ive been havin problems with SuSE 9.
I just installed it and it worked fine. I booted up windows (dual boot) and after that when i try to boot linux i get an error -

something about /dev/ataraid/d0p3 is corrupt - u must run

fsck --rebuild-tree

I ran

fcsk.reiserfs --fix-fixable

and it said there were 6 errors that could not be fixed - run Rebuild-tree

I try to run

fsck.reiserfs --rebuild-tree
and it says it cannot run this on a mounted drive..

How do i unmount it??

I tried umount /dev/ataraid/d0p3 - and no luck....

please help

I believe that typing 'init 1' will drop you into a single-user environment where it's safe to do that.

Also you could boot from a small floppy distro of Linux, here is a link to a good one http://www.toms.net/rb/ I use it all the time
