Correct ISO?

I read through a bunch of different version of linux and want to create an install CD... I was told I needed the .ISO.... So i went to SuSe and downloaded the file "SUSE-9.1-personal-x86.iso" its 700mb, would this be the file i burn to the CD and make the install CD for it???

hi,

"iso files are image files. You do not burn them like common files.

Please check the following links for more info

ISO Image FAQ: http://www.linuxiso.org/viewdoc.php/isofaq.html
How to Burn ISOs: http://www.linuxiso.org/viewdoc.php/howtoburn.html
Verifying ISO Images: http://www.linuxiso.org/viewdoc.php/verifyiso.html

Good luck
