copying file in a LAN


Hallo,
I'm working on a server from my terminal connected in a LAN.I have the access by ssh. Now I have to copy I file that is in the HD of my terminal to the HD of the server. How can I do that?

If you already have SSH running, check out the 'scp' command, which uses SSH to transfer files.

(use 'man scp' to find out more)
