copy files revised after a certain date

I am running ubundu 10.10 and want to copy all files revised after a certain date (01.02.2011) to a certain location (usb memory stick) for backup purposes. How do I use the "cp" command, or do I have to use any other command ? Or may be this is not possible in Linux ?
Thank you !

If depends on what do you mean by "revised". Most fs's store the date of the latest modification, if that serves your purpose then all you need is to learn how to use "find" (look into its man page for "mtime"). You can use cp in conjunction with find.
