just use scp to copy

1. login to the new server
2. use scp to copy files and folders from old server

Thanks.. I've been using the scp to copy the files..

But during the process there are some time the my internet connection failed, and that result the putty to inactive.. I'm just wondering if prefer to re-process again the transfer of file, would it replaced the previous copy that aren't done? or it will continue the transfer base on the last copied files..?

If you're copying a large amount of files, I would suggest using rsync with the -a switch (see rsync man page). If you're copying web server content I assume some of your files will be permission and ownership sensitive, so using rsync with the archive switch will preserve all timestamps, user/group ownership, and permissions. scp will not preserve those attributes.
