Copy files from HPunix to SUSE linux
 

Hi,

I have to copy files from HP unix server to SUSE linux server. I have tried rcp, but it does not work. Can someone help me with the commands or files to be changed inorder to copy the files.

use scp, i always use scp for file copies between different *nix machines

Posting the error may help.




ftp or tftp may be open too.

nc may be used maybe.

When I am using scp - it give this error

ksh: scp: not found

and when I am using rcp it give this error

rcmd: connect: 10.44.33.15: Connection refused

I have used ftp also then its a very long process of copying the complete directory stucture which is not convinient.

Please advise.
