convert gnome desktop to kde desktop
hi
i have two m/c on linux one logs in thru console and other thru graphical gui (GNOME).
on first m/c i start XWindows using startx command.
Now i want my desktop to be in KDE on this m/c and other m/c also. can anybody tell me how is it possible.

erm.. what on earth is an "m/c" ??? using standard abbreviations is fine, but ones that's don't exist is not a good idea.

m/c stands for machine(computer or system) its an technical language. now can u help me, if you dont mind

If you use startx to start the the desktop, just edit your .xinitrc in your users' home directory to start each one in KDE.
And to think I always thought mc stood for Master of the Ceremony.... you know like MC Hammer..

sorry this is not answer to my question i simply want to know can it be possible to change the desktop from gnome to kde in both the logins ( from console and graphical)

it may well be an technicaical language, but seems to be one you made up. and you seem to be getting very impatient for someone after help...
