convert a router into a microwave detector?

Is there available software that will allow me to convert a router into a microwave - emf and or emp detector / could a router be used to detect high levels of microwave? I considered that since it broadcasts and receives in mw frequencies, maybe we could make more use of them?

New to tech
Thank you

Welcome to LinuxQuestions and the world of technology.

True that ovens typically operate at 2.450 GHz which is in the middle of the 2.4G router band but since they are designed to detect a narrow digital signal I don't think it would work as a simple detector without a few hardware changes.
