controller problem on altix 450

We are using SGI model Altix 450 and we are facing problem in its controller. Its POD stopped starting the system. The detail of error is also mentioned.

On starting Altix450 machine the one of the L1 shows the message
in the following sequence:
Prom Starting
Init..Memory
001.06^3#0:Err8
Sometimes we get message:
001.06^4#0a:POD
Any help will be appreciated

Have you looked at the user's manual? Especially the troubleshooting part? I don't see your specific message in there, but given when in the POST sequence this occurs, my first suspicion would be a problem with the memory.
