controling the modules...
is there a file that can be edited... to include or remove what modules are loaded during startup.... (by the way ma machine's got slack 9.1)
well installed kernel-2.4.25 from the slack site a while ago and a few modules try loading but get a message saying such and such module error loading... any help... very much appreciated... thank you... |
you could try commenting the lines containing the problem modules in /etc/rc.d/rc.modules or add the modules to /etc/hotplug/blacklist, either method should stop the modules from loading.
good luck. |
thanks... i'll give it a try
