Contrib file?
 

Okay... I'm probably going to come across as very stupid here... lol I have a friend who is trying to find out something and, even though I know next to nothing about computers, I want to try to help.... This is what he said he is looking for:

i need to know where to find my contrib file in my ftp tree for slackware linux so im able to locate the java slack pack?

If anyone out there can help, I would really appreciate it!!! :) And if I got the question wrong and it makes no sense, then I'm sorry for wasting your time and just ignore me :) hehe

It's actually known as the "extra" directory. Find your favorite/closest mirror for your version of slack, look for the extra directory and presto, there it is.
