Console colors ?

Hello,
I'm using Slackware. How can I change completely console colors to green only. Whatever I do, there is still left some purple color in pager "less" (when I look at man paes), and Vim command prompt (--Insert--).
I've tried with:

setterm -foreground green -store
Edited /etc/DIR_COLORS
Disabled /etc/profile.d/coreutils_dircolors.sh
Added t_Co=10 in vimrc

And still, this purple color remains. What else can I do?

There should be a file similar to

/apps/gnome-terminal/profiles/Default/palette

that determines your color settings for terminal-style windows.

Good luck.
