Question Connecting to wireless router

I recently got a new laptop running Ubuntu 9.04. When I tried to log on to my router, Ubuntu asked for SSID, BSSID and MAC address. How do I go about getting these? Someone else set up my router. An earlier release of Ubuntu just wanted my WAP Security key.
Thank you.

How are you trying to configure your wireless card? You shouldn't have to manually enter that information, just look for your network in the list of detected access points, and enter in your WPA key.
