connecting to dialup without root password

Currently use KPPP which requires root password. Want to allow a few users on the same PC to use dialup but not access to root. What program should I use? Also what program is best to monitor internet usage to make sure users are doing the right thing, eg user, URL, date, etc.

Thank you

Install Kuser and then make sure the users are added to the appropriate groups (not sure what they all are, but probably kppp and/or ppp).

Not sure about the monitoring...

Will a proxy server like squid do what you want? All web requests from your users go via the proxy server and you get your monitoring data in the proxy logs.

There are a bunch of tools for analysing the logs at http://www.squid-cache.org/Scripts/
