connecting to a network printer


i am running debian with fluxbox and i want to connect to a windows networked printer and i don't know where to start or what to do. the printer has an address printer.dept@xyz.com and i was hoping i can use this to connect. I am on the network! and the pronter is an HP laserjet 1320n... i also have the IP address of the printer

First install cups (common unix printing system), then type localhost:631 in your browser to access cups configuration page.
