I purchased the Huawei EC325 modem from BSNL WLL which uses a USB cable to connect to the PC. My inital reaction was since it was a USB connection and was using a custom software to connect to the net, it would not be possible to connect to the net in Linux using this modem. What can i do?
Yeah, can anyone tell me where I can download the software coonnect my Huawei ETS 1000 Modem in Linux Mint or how do I go about configuration so that Linux can see the modem and connect to the internet?
I really don't understand much about Linux Mint, someone suggested it to me about 2 weeks ago because it is virus free; but so far I have not been about connect my usb Huawei ETS 1201 Modem to the internet. It seems that linux sees it and gives this message when I type the cd
Bus 002 Device 002: ID 0451:3410 Texas Instruments, Inc. TUSB3410 Microcontroller
but I don't know how configure it so that I conect to the internet.

Usually the driver modules are present in the kernel (as for other providers)
