connect DEBIAN with a HP_PSC_1200 within XP
I have a PC with Windows XP Pro ,having attached 2 printers :
--an old HP Deskjet 600 (LPT1)
--an HP_PSC_1200 (USB).
Another PC with Debian Linux is connected to the first PC via Ethernet.
No problem for creating in Linux the "my600" printer.
Then I tried to create the "my1200" printer.
I tried everything (hpijs,foomatic,espgs,hplip,cups,samba,...).
When I start the "testpage" (via CUPS and/or KDEPRINT and/or console) I have an event on the PSC_1200 printer (the engine starts ) but nothing more happens even if I take off the paper.
Examining the printer queue in XP I see that "guest" document as "In print" but nothing happens , with the exception of the LED (on/off) of the printer which goes on pulsing.
The web is full of "solutions" of this problem ......
Please help me.
