Confusing find command

I have these files under my home directory:

libxslt.so
libxslt.so.1
libxslt.so.1.0.33

However, when I do a

find ./ -name lib* (I'm in the home directory)

I get this error :
"find: paths must precede expression
Usage: find [path...] [expression]"

Is the command wrong to search for all files that start with lib?

Thanks!
