Conflict Between 2 the same name for DNS Servers

Hi All,

I need help:)
Current Situation : We had already set-up an internal dns server named let's say xyz.com.ph and it's already working.

Problem is : xyz.com.ph is also an existing external domain. So, if I will point my dns server to the local dns server then I can't reach that external domain but we can see all other domains except for that one.

Any suggestion?

Thanks in advance ;)

A records

You will need to duplicate your public A records so when a query for an actual record reaches the server, it will receive the correct answer. It is also a good way to redirect to an internal server if you have one. In that situation, you would set the A record directly to the internal IP address so it doesn't have to go out through NAT and back in.

-Regards.
