Configuring Xorg for intel driver in backtrack 5


I had installed backtrack 5 r3 32 bit kde on my samsung laptop, but it is taking fbdev driver by default in xorg.conf file , i could not enable any desktop effects.
Somebody Please help me to force intel driver in xorg.conf.

I have i3 3rd gen processor, intel HD 4000 integreted graphics onboard.

try (re)moving the xorg.conf

Are you sure the kernel and Xorg versions in that backtrack release are new enough to support your Intel GPU? I'd guess they are not.

are the appropriate drivers installed , e.g.: xserver-xorg-video-intel ..
