Configuring X Windows....good links?

Morning everyone. Just wanted to see if anyone knew of some good links to use for configuring X Windows? I am going to be setting up a few systems on Slackware and Debian and I needed to find good information to pass on to my users on how to configure their desktops....However, I need to find some basics to getting X started.

Anyone have any suggestions for How-to's, tutorials etc?

Thanks.

Tar

My bad, I reread and your looking for customization for desktops.. I was thinking to configure X since you referred to it that way in the first sentence..

No problem tricky kid...that is a very good link for bookmarks. :)

I'm always trying to find new things. For instance, i'm trying to find documentation about error problems. Specifically, when you try and startx and you get the error "No screens found."

I'd also like to find some dcoumentation on like a Window mananger of some sort, so I can configure maybe a few desktop managers like Blackbox, Fluxbox, Window Maker etc. and then be able to pick what one I want upon logging in.

But for now, i'm trying to find information on getting X Windows up and running and customized.

I appreciate your help.

BTW that is a very good link.
