configuring x w/ usb mouse problems
 

I'm trying to configure X using xf86config, and I have a usb optical mouse I want to use. Unfortunately, when prompted to specify where my modem is in /dev, I don't know. /dev/mouse doesn't work, so is there a way I can check what is connected to my /dev/usb/ devices?
