configuring SVN with Ldap
 
Hi Folks,

This is KIshore can any one help me in configuring SVN with LDAP authentication on Ubuntu 9.10.

I am using SVN 1.6.5 on Ubuntu 1.6.5 both are working fine but I want to implement Ldap on the same server I don't have any idea about this please some one suggest me the steps to implement this.....

other Details Ubuntu 9.10 32-bit, Svn 1.6.5 with apache2 and windows 2003/2008 32-bit

The simple svnserve doesn't handle LDAP IIRC. You need to access SVN through Apache using WebDAV. This is a bit of a pain but I've gotten it working on one of my servers. If you Google for Apache DAV subversion ldap or something like that you should get a number of guides like this one that will explain how to do it. The procedure is roughly equivalent for different distros (but obviously the config files will be in different places for different distros and there might be slightly different syntax for different Apache versions).
