Question configuring snmpd.conf on RHLE5.2

I need to configure the snmpd.conf file to use a specific community string and point it to a specific IP address which will flag up any alerts regarding hardware issues with this virtual server.

How can this be done and tested?

You can reference one of the thousands of configuration guides you can find on Google. Type in "linux snmpd howto". They should walk you through everything. If you have a specific problem, come back and post it, or contact RedHat support, since you're paying for it with your Enterprise Linux...
