Configuring NIC Card in FC2
Hey, I'm new to Fedora. I just got a new NIC card (10/100Maps fast Ethevnet Adapter) and I was wondering how I'd configure it so I can get online.
I'm running FC2 on my computer. Any advice? |
From command line or GUI?
FC2 is getting a bit old, so it may or may not work with your card from command line try system-config-network and follow the instructions |
either way is fine with me lol.
whatevers easiest. i'll try the command line first and if i cant get it, i'll let you know, and if u dont mind hopefully you could help me with that. =] thanks |
okay, im completely lost, i ran that command and i dont know what to do when the network configuration screen came up.
can you explain what to do? |
You should be able to select the NIC, then hit enter to allow you to set the IP, etc
Here's what I see on one of my boxes Quote:
