Hi,
for dial-up-connection, look out for "ppp.." kinda thing in start->internet in slackware.
I'm currently not in slac otherwise i cud have told u the exact location.
There in ppp... you have to opt for certain options. Everything is GUI there.
Let us know whether u get that working or not.

regards

I guess its an old modem u have got there.I have one of these too.The problem is that the driver developement of these modems have been stopped by intel , cause they called them "archived" drivers.But still u can use them with the old drivers only and only if u have a kernel 2.4.* .It wount work on 2.6.*.

For 2.4.* goto intel.com and download the driver 1st.( you will have to put some effort to find it on the site).Then the installation is easy
Untar it,run the ./configure script , ad the make in the end.First identify the exact model of the modem then find the driver.

Post I already Have Done

Yeah!!
I already knew that.......but while configuring Modem it Says "Can not Open Modem"
You can Do that By
Internet Tools---->PPP---->Config---->Modem->New--->Modem

I also Found My Modem Drivers for Linux Slacware....which can be run on Slax
But those files end at c e.g "Driver.c"
And i do not know wat to do with C files
