Configuring linux as a router using a pci adsl card

This is the first time ive ever dealt with an adsl/modem connection in linux, and tbh im baffled by all the different setups out there, and dont know what i need to configure.

First of all, what i have.

The pc is a p2 400mhz with 384 mb of ram.
Fedora core 3 minimal install.

Efficient Networks PCI ADSL modem
3com 10/100 PCI ethernet card

Currently im connected using an edimax router, with my isp providing a pppoa service, which i know all the relevant details for.

Now i've linux as a router many times before, but with an ethernet adsl/cable modem, and 2 ethernet cards.

Please can you help me setup my modem, and configure linux to automatically connect on boot etc.

Thanks in advance

Since I'm having a terrible time finding my script, I'll give you a little advice as I search. If you've previously used a script for a linux router on another PC, change the ETH0 to ppp0 and it should word. Now you'd you to change that value throughout the whole script.

if you want that box to just be your firewall/router, then i sujest looking into IPCop

http://ipcop.org/

it is a distro that will custom build a very powerful and scalable firewall/NAT router for you. it might even already have support for your DSL modem.

worth a look.
