Hi, I have just installed a new and fresh debian system. Now I am trying to configure kernel source to compile nvidia drivers for my video card. The problem is that when I do
make-kpkg --append-to-version "-2-386" --revision 2.6.8-2 --config old configure
I get following errors:
make: Entering directory `/usr/src/kernel-source-2.6.8'
scripts/kconfig/mconf.c:91: error: static declaration of 'current_menu' follows non-static declaration
scripts/kconfig/lkc.h:63: error: previous declaration of 'current_menu' was here
make: *** [scripts/kconfig/mconf.o] Error 1
make: *** [config] Error 2
make: Leaving directory `/usr/src/kernel-source-2.6.8'
make: *** [stamp-kernel-configure] Error 2
So, what is this? An error in the kernel source??
