I don't use aterm, but if it has an option to run in the background that would be the option to use. You may be able to use just an '&' after the command itself.

Change 'use_spacer yes' to 'use_spacer left' or right, like it says.

Make sure you have lm_sensors installed, otherwise there is no 'sensors' command which it seems to need.

How many CPUs do you have ? 2 ? Run 'sensors' and see, modify the config as necessary.

Ok aterm is now working perfectly...
...but not conky.

So I changed "use_spacer left", installed lm_sensors. By the way I only have one CPU, and here is sensors output:
Code:
acpitz-virtual-0
Adapter: Virtual device
temp1:       +62.0C  (crit = +99.0C)
Can you please tell me what to change in my conky config file (I've tried changing many things but none of them worked)?

Thanks.

Ok, so change this:

Code:
${color 9ACD32}Cpu1:${color a4a4a4}${alignr}${cpu cpu1}% ${color 556B2F}${execi 20 sensors k8temp-pci-00c3 |grep Core0 |awk '{print $3}'}
${color 556B2F}${cpugraph cpu1 20,85 556B2F 9ACD32}
${color 9ACD32}Cpu2:${color a4a4a4}${alignr}${cpu cpu2}% ${color 556B2F}${execi 20 sensors k8temp-pci-00c3 |grep Core1 |awk '{print $3}'}
${color 556B2F}${cpugraph cpu2 20,85 556B2F 9ACD32}
to

Code:
${color 9ACD32}Cpu:${color a4a4a4}${alignr}${cpu cpu0}% ${color 556B2F}${execi 20 sensors acpitz-virtual-0
 |grep temp1 |awk '{print $2}'}
${color 556B2F}${cpugraph cpu0 20,85 556B2F 9ACD32}
Note that if that doesn't work get rid of 'acpitz-virtual-0' it's likely not needed.
